To report crimes in progress, call 911. It is the job of the Police Department to determine its priority in responding to crime.

Oakenshawe is located in the Northern Police District (Northern District). Our principal neighborhood contact is Officer Doug Gibson, the Oakenshawe Community Relations Officer. He may be reached at 410-367-8491. Officer Gibson acts as a liaison to the Department, assists with crime prevention education, and helps with specific legal issues.
